A bit about us....

A group of the best musicians from Springfield, Illinois have come together to present a cool twist on jazz. The Roger Kimball Band play a unique mix of funky jazz, spiced with bits of New Orleans-flavored grooves and songs. The group plays music ranging from SpyroGyro, Joshua Redman and Grover Washington to instrumental arrangements of songs from R&B greats including Stevie Wonder, and funky standards recorded by New Orleans’ legends such as the Meters, Professor Longhair and the Neville Brothers.

All of this is wrapped by great musicianship and improvisation in an upbeat presentation.
